Dioramas inside wooden handmade boxes of abandoned houses are used to construct this work. The wooden boxes were built based on old-fashioned projectors found in the 19th Century which were named lantern magic. Projections of the dioramas are produced using a little light bulb and a magnifier within the boxes.
Materials used in this work were discovered in the debris of abandoned houses. Thus the dioramas and handmade boxes are made from doors, old furniture as well as waste piled outside the empty shells of desolate houses and buildings.
